MSK STARLIGHT® Professional hand-shrink devices
The STARLIGHT® Professional - the top model in the MSK range of hand-shrink devices - sets completely new standards for the industrial user. It satisfies the most stringent demands even under the most severe industrial operating conditions with continuous use and can shrink packaging film up to 30 % faster.
As tough as they come
The plastic jacket of the STARLIGHT® Professional is of
impact-resistant plastic and protects the device with its elasticity even if it
is allowed to fall from a height of 2 metres. The high-value internal parts are
mounted with rubber-metal connections. The aluminium parts are additionally
anodised to permit problemfree use even in aggressive environments. Wear due to
abrasive dust particles or oxidation in hostile environments are almost a thing
of the past.
Patented burner system
As with an internal combustion engine, the decisive factor is the preparation of
the mixture. Used in the STARLIGHT® Professional is the patented
three-stage Venturi system (European patent No. 0 460 500) which gives the
device its extremely high combustion quality and reduces the exhaust gases by
two thirds relative to that of the Venturi burners conventionally used.
Shrinking in less than no time
Thanks to the horizontally shaped burner head with its wide-slit nozzle, the
previously so tiring shrinking of top shrink and undershrink of in particular
tall pallet loads and even at above head-height can be done much more rapidly
without one's joints being overloaded.
The extremely low weight and
ergonomically shaped handle make the STARLIGHT® Professional
hand-shrink device easy and convenient to hold and use.
Masterly at saving energy
The high combustion quality and the burner with its wide-slit nozzle reduce
energy consumption because a 30 % higher level of combustion means at the same
time a 30 % saving in energy. A further advantage is the unit's constant high
output during continuous operation even at a gas pressure as low as 1 bar. This
means that work can be continued until the cylinder is almost empty.
