MSK Stretch hood machines - Solutions for high flexibility
The latest generation of the MSK Tensiontech stretch hood machine allows high flexibility in packaging, even for future product sizes. Fitted to your products and requirements, up to four different film formats and thicknesses are used fully automatically.
Stretch hood with coordinate film-stretch method
The MSK Tensiontech stretch hood machine selectively stretches the film hood in order to fit every pallet and product format with various user-defined longitudinal and transverse coordinates: optimum transport safety is obtained. This permits usage of thinner film and packaging of many different kinds of pallet and unit formats. Optionally, the film can be stretched all the way below the pallet ("under stretch - method"), or it can be used as a steady belt at the top board.
Reduction of film usage - a patented method
MSK's patented technique for film gathering (EP 1 353 847 B1) and the vertical film stretching system (EP 1 717 148) significantly lower the usage of film and enhance load stability at the same time.
Lowerable machine head for easy maintenance access
The machine head of the MSK Tensiontech stretch hood machine can be lowered to ground level, which makes its maintenance quick and simple as no ladders or platforms are necessary. Similarly, film rolls and welding strip can easily be exchanged thanks to convenient plugs and sockets and the user-friendly access at ground level.
Stretch hood technology with MSK Clean Design
Especially for the food and beverage industry, MSK's Tensiontech is available as an MSK Clean Design version: no hydraulics are needed as belts instead of chains constantly ensure clean and material-conserving handling with minimal maintenance effort and very little wear and tear.

Thanks to a specially developed MSK conveying system, MSK ensures complete, safe and stable load transportation during the packaging process.
