Production Preparation Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Responsible for the operation of the company’s production preparation activities, the development of the machine parts’ production technology, as well as the enforcement of the quality and delivery deadlines.
  • Managing the adaptation of the already existing technologies (manufacturing operation plans, BOMs) in accordance with the modernization of our production equipment
  • Responsibility for the determination of the standard time of the individual parts, coordination of the external and internal production processes
  • Planning of the department’s activities and required number of personnel, as well as its implementation and enforcement, the preparation of the department’s annual budget, its implementation and follow-up
  • Supporting and improving the colleagues who work in the production areas
  • Reporting obligation towards the CEO and maintain a close daily relationship with the managers of Design, Part Production and the Assembly Shop


Your qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering (preferably specialized in production technologies / toolmachines)
  • Basic REFA certificate and / or Lean MTM certificate is mandatory
  • Professional experience at manufacturing companies in an equivalent position
  • Knowledge of the profession’ standards and safety technology prescriptions is an advantage
  • Experience in the production of welded structures is an advantage
  • Proficiency in the use of an ERP system is an advantage,
  • Open, initiator, process-oriented and committed personality
  • Cost-, result- and customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to work under big pressure in an innovative international environment
  • Proficient knowledge of English or German, both written and verbal
