Your tasks:
- Engineer and program automated systems for customers throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico (primarily in the US)
- Design, development, implementation, and testing of automation engineering systems using mostly Allen-Bradley Programmer Logic Controller PLCs systems, Allen-Bradley and SEW Eurodrive servomechanisms servos and variable frequency drives VFDs and Festo and SMS pneumatics on Ethernet/IP, for pallet load unit and large container packaging machines
- Handling the power-up, I/O check-out, commissioning, and debugging of MSK machinery drop-shipped to our Customer's plants
- Write custom PLC programs for automated machinery
- Train customer personnel on MSK machinery
- Support Customers remotely, assisting with troubleshooting and process modifications
- Product concept and film testing in our Acworth facility for potential new Customers
- and Help develop and improve existing training manuals and procedures.
Your profile:
- Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, Controls Engineering, Robotics Engineering, and other closely related degrees
- and 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupations
- Must have 1 year of experience in the following skills:
- Automation Systems (Allen Bradley PLCs, robots, Siemens or other PLCs, etc.)
- Electrical systems, components, and motion control (VFDs/Servo) and schematics
- and Troubleshooting automated equipment and operating mechanical tools.
Position requires up to 10% international travel.
