Your tasks:
- Organize and manage daily production activities and production planning in the steel structure workshop, ensuring compliance with quality standards and deadlines
- Ensure general operational order in the workshop
- Prepare reports for management (e.g., production data, scrap rates)
- Coordinate logistics of semi-finished goods between internal workshops
- Actively participate in 5S and continuous production process improvement initiatives
- Identify, report, and coordinate solutions to production issues
- Manage workforce allocation in line with production plans, participate in recruitment, evaluation, training, and internal development programs
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and quality assurance regulations
- Organize, coordinate, and monitor the work of the team
- Prepare and review work instructions, process descriptions, and technical documentation
- Propose measures for production optimization
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality assurance, and other departments
- Use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Your profile:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of welding methods: TIG (AWI), MIG/MAG, MMA
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in welded structures in custom machinery manufacturing
- Communicative proficiency in English and/or German
- Experience and capability to manage a 30–40 person operational team
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes
- Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD software
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Intercultural competence
