50th company anniversary with successful celebrations in Kleve

At our headquarters in Kleve, we celebrated our company’s 50th anniversary on June 12–13. An event featuring invited guests from the business and political communities, as well as an open house for the public, provided a successful setting for looking back on significant milestones in our company’s history and, at the same time, looking ahead to the future as an innovative, international mechanical engineering company. 

From a small craft business founded in 1975 by Reiner Hannen in Kalkar-Wissel to one of the world’s leading manufacturers of packaging machines and intralogistics systems - guests and visitors were able to experience this journey firsthand through a varied and informative program held in Kleve.

Celebrations with invited guests

The festivities began on Friday with a reception for invited guests. In addition to speeches by Founder and President Reiner Hannen and Managing Partners Christina and Linda Hannen on the company’s early beginnings, its successful growth, and future projects, representatives from the business and political communities – including the Lower Rhine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the City of Kleve – also paid tribute to the growth of our family-run company. Members of management from all of the group’s branches were represented at the festivities. Guided tours of the company, musical performances, entertainment by a magician, and culinary delights rounded out the program. 

Open house

At Saturday’s open house, there was a varied program for young and old alike. In addition to demonstrations of high-performance machines in the Kleve production facilities and an overview of the group’s international focus, we also presented ourselves as an innovative employer in the region with a wide range of job and career opportunities. In addition to technically interesting and fun activities such as a virtual reality experience, speed soccer, a balloon artist, the chance to participate in a quiz, a bounce house, and much more, refreshments were also plentiful.
