With the market launch of MSK EMSY analytics, MSK excited great interest among visitors to Glasstec 2018. The new software achieves a completely new level of transparency regarding the overall efficiency of a Cold End as the basis for a structured increase in process efficiency.

MSK EMSY analytics connects the data of all EMSY-controlled machines at the Cold End in the spirit of Industry 4.0, and enables central control of the entire Cold End on the basis of real-time data. By combining the data from the areas of bottle conveying, palletizing, packaging and pallet conveying, it allows conclusions to be drawn about overall effectiveness, its causes and potential approaches to process optimization. Central control of material and energy consumption, production performance etc. becomes possible as well as networked root cause analysis for downtimes etc. The software also offers central backups for high data security and enables predictive time management. Production times and downtimes for retooling or maintenance can be scheduled and efficiently coordinated for the entire Cold End. This means that downtimes can be minimized and production output optimized.

Visitors to Glasstec also showed great interest in the new generation of the MSK visualization software MSK EMSY 6.0, with which MSK systems can be operated even more easily and efficiently. New and optimized features such as RFID user identification, automatic backups, graphic-supported parameterization, a parameter change history, maintenance management with calendar function and even simpler troubleshooting through the detection of possible causes and solutions offer new advantages to our MSK customers.

In addition to new software solutions, MSK specialists provided information about new developments in the areas of bottle conveyor technology, palletizing technology, pallet packaging systems, etc.. A particular highlight proved to be the new automatic adjustability of the MSK palletizing systems, with rapid-change devices and mobile magazines for simplified job change.
