Unpacking, de-palletizing/palletizing, packaging, conveying – all from a single source
With 50 years of experience, MSK has established itself internationally in the project business for end-of-line solutions across various industries. What sets MSK apart is its product portfolio, which is designed and manufactured in-house: from unpacking and depalletizing in the receiving area, through container transport and high-performance robotic palletizing systems, to the automatic feeding of empty pallets and trays. The system is complemented by efficient load-securing solutions using stretch and shrink technology, as well as intelligent pallet conveyor and transport systems all the way through to loading.
Efficient overall system control
A key success factor is the MSK EMSY software solution. It connects all system components into a unified system, manages material flow transparently, and enables seamless integration into existing ERP and MES structures. Resource-saving transport packaging
With the latest MSK shrink packaging technology, you can sustainably minimize your energy and material consumption: Gas consumption is reduced by 13%. An additional 40% savings is possible with the MSK Covershrink energy-saving module. The electric shrink frame MSK Corritech with eCovershrink operates entirely without gas. By completely eliminating the use of fossil fuels, we support you on your path to climate neutrality without compromising the stability of your shrink packaging. MSK shrink packaging systems are also in high demand on the market because they are suitable for use with recycled or biodegradable films. The shrink film used is also fully recyclable.
Sustainable stretch-hood systems
MSK also incorporates resource-efficient technology into its stretch hooding systems. Thanks to their compact design, balanced vertical movements, and a patented stretching process, these systems achieve extremely low energy consumption—less than 0.07 kWh per pallet—and can process films as thin as 20 μm. The use of recycled films is also possible here.
To recommend the optimal packaging method (shrink wrapping or stretch wrapping) for your specific product, we can conduct comparative tests with your product using transport simulations at our MSK Customer Test Center upon request. This is the most reliable way to provide fact-based, product-specific advice.
Unpacking made easy
To automate pallet logistics not only at the end of the production line but also in the receiving area, MSK offers a complete, one-stop solution for unpacking pallet loads—including the removal of film and strapping—followed by depalletizing. The MSK portfolio in this area includes the fully automatic MSK Defotech film removal system, a fully automatic MSK Destraptech strap removal system, and gantry- or robot-based depalletizing systems. The MSK Defotech film removal system is available for all standard film packaging. After unpacking, the film and strapping are transported away for recycling or disposal and collected in a space-saving manner. If the packaging films are sorted by type, they can be fully recycled.
Fully automated pallet logistics
There is often untapped potential for cost reduction in goods receiving, within production, in the final packaging area, and on the way to goods shipping: minimizing forklift traffic, reducing manual pallet handling, or optimizing truck loading. Experienced project engineers will develop a customized, fully-automated concept for you to address these needs.
